Threatening to kill a police officer and their family members is not the best of ideas.

A Murfreesboro man was arrested at the Old Fort Parkway Walmart store Wednesday morning on numerous charges. Robert Dunn, age 25, allegedly shouted at police after he spotted the officer before they spotted him. The police report stated that Dunn yelled to police, "ARE YOU LOOKING FOR ME?"

According to the report Dunn had slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet. Police wrote, "Mr. Dunn was found to be in possession of an X-Box 360 game, which was later found to have been stolen from Walmart." Police arrested the man and charged him with theft, disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Once in the back of a patrol car the arresting officer wrote, "Mr. Dunn threatened to kill me and my family once he bonded out of jail." The additional charge of "Retaliation" was then added to his current list of charges.

Due to the threat against a Murfreesboro officer and his family, WGNS is not releasing the name of the patrolman.
