Kiyana Shanice Lauderdale of Memphis, Tennessee was arrested in Murfreesboro on a number of charges after someone flagged down police on January Street Tuesday afternoon. Once officers stopped, police say they were told that a man and a woman tried to kick open an apartment door on a Murfreesboro Housing Authority property near Bridge Avenue. Police then headed to the closed down building in question.

Outside of the apartment Officer Aaron Price said that he could hear a male and a female having a disagreement. When Officer Price walked around the corner of the former public housing building, he saw a female at the top of the apartment stairs with her pants pulled down to her ankles. A man was standing to the left of her with his shirt off. The female told the male to "hurry up," according to the report. When the woman dropped to her knees outside of the building, the officer noticed that the woman had cash in one hand and a cellphone in the other.

Officer Price then yelled at the female to pull up her pants. She responded by telling police a false name while the male told police his name was Devan Brown and that he was 41 years of age. The two then told the officer that they are boyfriend and girlfriend and came to Murfreesboro to meet. One claimed to be from Texas while the other suggested they drove to Middle Tennessee from Florida.

After police separated the two, it was confirmed that the man also gave police a false name and his real identity was revealed to be Winston Johnson. His real age was 43 and not 41. It was also determined that the male only knew the female by a nickname and not her real name, even though the two claimed to be dating.

Johnson allowed for police to search his cell phone where they found numerous text messages negotiating prices with girls and also text about hotel locations and in-call services verses out-call services.

When police had a second talk with 20 year old Kiyana Lauderdale, she admitted that Johnson paid her for sex yesterday, but not today. Police then found a Backpage.com ad that she allegedly posted to advertise herself.

The arrest report went on to state that the two were found only a short distance away from the Franklin Heights Pre-School, where children were present.

Ms. Lauderdale was charged with Indecent Exposure, Criminal Impersonation, Criminal Trespassing, and Promotion of Prostitution.

Mr. Johnson was charged with Criminal Impersonation, Criminal Trespassing, and Patronizing Prostitution.

The duo were taken to the local jail and a court date has been set for July 5, 2015.
