Man assaulted at Jet's Pizza during armed robbery

The Smyrna Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying individuals that are responsible for an armed robbery. We have posted the surveillance photos gathers by police on WGNSradio.com.

On September 15th at 8 in the morning, an employee at Jet's Pizza on Almaville Road in Smyrna was robbed at knife point. The suspect entered and exited the business through the back door. Before leaving the store, he struck the victim in the face.

The attacker is described as a white male, approximately 6'0" and 220 lbs. He was concealing his face with what appeared to be a green T-Shirt and was wearing a brown "work jacket", blue jeans, and black gloves. The suspect vehicle is a two tone white/grey minivan believed that is believed to be a 2003 to 2007 Ford Freestar. The van was driven by a white female believed to be in her early 20's with blond hair.

The owner of the business is offering a reward of $1,000 if anyone can provide information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible for the crime. If you can I-D the culprits, call Det. Jason Anderson or the Smyrna Police Department at 615-459-6644.
