What were described by police as four large bags of marijuana were discovered in a Murfreesboro apartment.
Officers went to College Grove Apartments on Lascassas Pike to investigate a drug complaint. Once at unit 124, police were invited inside by apartment management where they met with 23-year old Tylon Brown. Police noted that the smell of marijuana was emitting from the unit.
After officers saw two joints in an ashtray, they asked Brown if he had anymore weed in his apartment. Brown then told police that it was stored in his bedroom, which is where the four large bags were located along with a digital scale and close to $500 in cash.

The local college student was charged with the sale of a schedule six drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed under an $8,500 bond and scheduled to appear in a Rutherford County Courtroom on April 28, 2016.
