A Beechgrove man has been arrested in Murfreesboro on multiple charges that included four counts of "Burglary to an Auto."

19-Year old Thaddeus Wayne Hester was arrested shortly after police got a call about a suspicious subject walking around an apartment complex with a "big bottle of alcohol," carrying a pool stick and "breaking into vehicles."

When police arrived at the Greenland Drive address they quickly discovered that four vehicles had been broken into. They also located the man who was armed with a pool stick identified as Hester. When they found him, he was seated in a car and had a bottle of Vodka in the seat behind him along with a screw driver and black gloves. The man did not say anything about breaking into cars, but did note that he was there to visit friends.

It did not take police long to locate the car burglary victims and then find some of their possessions in the car that Hester was seated in when police arrived.

The police report stated, "Eventually, Mr. Hester admitted to burglarizing four vehicles and removing items from them." After Hester owned up to the reported crime, he was arrested. In addition to the four burglary to auto charges, he was also charged with possession of burglary tools and vandalism.

As of Tuesday afternoon, Hester remains locked up at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center in Murfreesboro.
