Man covered in blood refused to cooperate with police

Police in Murfreesboro responded to West Street on Sunday morning around 3 in reference to a man who was covered in blood. The 34-year old man told officers that he was "jumped" by a group of people who pulled up beside him. The man was uncooperative with authorities, but did state that he was pistol whipped with a revolver. He was also robbed, according to a police report.

It is important to note that the victim has had past run-ins with the law. Those past run-ins involved aggravated robbery, public intoxication, retaliation and more.

No arrests have been made as the victim did not give any details to police.
