A 22-year old Murfreesboro man will face possession of a schedule six drug charges and manufacturing charges as well in court this December after being arrested over the extended Labor Day weekend. M-P-D Officers met with Reggie M. Patterson, Jr. after he was allegedly involved in a minor traffic crash on Parkview Terrace near Bradyville Pike.  A report shows that as Patterson was removing items from his Nissan Altima to prepare for his car to be towed, police saw him reportedly hiding items near a residential mailbox.

The officer who was investigating the accident walked over to the mailbox to find out what the subject set aside. According to an arrest report, “Those items were identified as a digital scale, one plastic bag containing marijuana and another bag containing marijuana and six Xanax pills.” Patterson faces not only the drug related charges, but also a charge for driving on a revoked license.
