Man Hurt after Train / Car Crash on Middle Tn. Blvd.

A man was hurt after witnesses say he tried to beat out an oncoming train in his car at the railroad tracks that cross Middle Tennessee Boulevard, near South Church Street. The crash happened around 10:45 Friday morning.

Murfreesboro Police spokesman Kyle Evans says the driver was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center in stable condition. Davis tells us he rushed to check on the man's condition...

Davis says he's seen many crashes at this particular intersection...

The crash remains under investigation by Murfreesboro Police.
