A man in Cannon County was arrested recently on drug charges and misuse of 9-1-1 after reportedly telling dispatchers that he was taken hostage by “Mexicans” who were manufacturing marijuana.

49 year old Aubrey Lee Kilgore allegedly called 9-1-1 from a Judge Purser Road residence to report that he had been taken hostage by “Mexicans who were manufacturing marijuana.”  The Cannon County Sheriff's Department dispatched deputies to the residence where they could not locate any Hispanic subjects, nor did they find marijuana. What they did find was that Kilgore himself was reported to be under the influence of narcotics.
