Man Jogging in LaVergne Intervenes When He Sees Four Men Harassing Young Girl, Gets JUMPED

A man who went for a jog in LaVergne on Wednesday ended the run with a trip to the hospital. Kevin Bell tells WGNS he was attacked after he intervened a situation involving four men who were said to be harassing a young teenage girl. The incident occurred on a dirt road off of Dreville Drive...

The attack didn't stop with one sucker punch, about three more followed when he fell to the ground. After Bell stumbled home he was transported by ambulance to StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna. Luckily, his injuries were not serious.

We confirmed with Kathy Tyson, spokesperson for the City of LaVergne, the four men responsible for the attack have not been arrested or even questioned.
