A Covington, Tennessee man is a suspect in a recent scam at the Home Depot Store on Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro. The culprit is accused of using the self checkout lane and scanning a barcode for an item that is less than a dollar, but walking out with nearly $400 in merchandise.

At the Murfreesboro store, the individual left the store with a $400 nail gun that he ended up paying $ .57-cents for. It is suspected that the same man has pulled a similar scam at other Home Depot stores.
