A 32-year old Reed Avenue man reported to Murfreesboro Police he was shot at while driving at the intersection of East Vine Street at Maney Avenue.

The victim told officers he was attempting to turn Wednesday just after 1pm when someone in a black Monte Carlo fired several rounds. The rearview glass was shattered and police report a dent on the tailgate.

Detectives were called to the scene, where at least seven shell casings were found. There was also damage to JD's Market, which sits at that intersection. The victim was not injured.
