Man Shot Early Thursday Morning On Minor St.

(MURFREESBORO) Detectives with the Murfreesboro Police Department are investivating an early Thursday (7/11/2019) morning shooting on Minor Street.

Public Information Officer Larry Flowers told WGNS that officers responded to a 911 shooting call shortly after midnight at 12:51AM.

When they arrived at the scene, they discovered a male lying in the street and suffering from gun shot wounds. This was near the intersection of Minor Street and Mason Court.

He was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center, where officials say he is now in stable condition.

Since this is a new and active case, Flowers said detectives are unable to release additional information as they are still in the early stages of gathering evidence.
