In 2014 witness Robert Strange previously testified that he was drinking beer at a friend's West Main Street Apartment when the accused suspect Charles Warner and murder victim Al Azraki left to go to the Imperial Inn on Broad Street. About an hour later Warner returned. Strange stated, "He was covered in blood [talking about Warner]." Strange told the courts, "He had blood all over his face, arms and legs."
