Mapco Gas Station in Murfreesboro robbed early Sunday morning

A man dressed in black entered the Mapco gas station on Memorial Blvd. at West Clark Blvd. early Sunday morning and reportedly robbed the establishment.

According to the clerk, the man was wearing a ski mask when he entered the gas station several minutes after midnight. Once inside, the masked bandit stated, "You know what to do." The clerk then opened the register handing the victim less than $70 in cash.

After grabbing the money, the man fled the store on foot.

So far, the robber has not been apprehended and the case is still open.
