Marijuana may be legal in some states, but not here… not yet anyway.

Murfreesboro Police received an anonymous call about possible drug activity at a home on Palmer Drive in Murfreesboro and went to investigate on Sunday. Upon their arrival they met with 54-year old Robby Lee Gann. The person who tipped off the authorities told Police Gann was the one who was selling drugs out of the home.

Police smelled the odor of *Mary Jane (marijuana) emitting from inside the house so they invited themselves in. According to an arrest report, police found two bags of a green leafy substance sitting on an end table next to a recliner. The report stated, “Then on a consensual search I found a grinder on Mr. Ganns bed and rolling papers beside the two bags of marijuana.”

Gann now faces felony marijuana possession charges and possession of drug paraphernalia charges. He will appear in court on April 24, 2014.

MPD Arrest Report #13-00310 (14-00310)
