Don't be surprised when you see what appears to be a mass casualty event at StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna. The exercise will begin around 8:00 o'clock Friday (4/12/2019) morning and continue until noon.

Ham radio operators with the Rutherford County Amateur Radio Emergency Services (RCARES) will be supporting the event with emergency communications.

Emergency Coordinator Kevin Molloy said, "We will be setting up and working from the communications trailer. It will be located in the parking lot in front of the Emergency Room. All RCARES members interested in participating are welcome to come to the event."

He noted that the trailer will be open around 7:30AM in front of the hospital's emergency room at 200 StoneCrest Boulevard in Smyrna.
