Matthew West to perform at New Vision Baptist Church Next Month

Local nonprofit Special Kids Therapy & Nursing Center will host a family friendly concert featuring renowned Christian music artist, Matthew West, on Thursday, September 22, at New Vision Baptist Church in Murfreesboro.

The event entitled Special Kids Evening with Matthew West will be open to children and adults of all ages. The GRAMMY nominee will perform an acoustic set of personally selected songs from his multiple award winning albums. According to West's communications team, "Matthew is well-known for communicating others' stories through song, he has received more than 40,000 stories from fans around the world."

"One of the reasons we invited Matthew West to our event was because he could be enjoyed by everyone. Since Special Kids serves the whole family, our goal was to reach all age groups through this special evening," states Ashley Russom, event specialist for Special Kids.

Preceding the concert, Special Kids will treat guests to a Q&A dinner hour with Matthew West and Special Kids leadership team sponsored by Ole South properties. The delicious meal is provided by Demos' Restaurant and Peter D's. Afterwards, 1,500 tickets for the concert will be available for general admission and premium seating.

Dinner tickets are on sale for $125. Concert tickets are sold separately for $35 for general admission, $65 for premium seating, and discounts for groups of 10 or more. Proceeds from the event will benefit children with special needs that are served at Special Kids Therapy & Nursing Center.
