McDaniel Resigns as Oakland Football Coach

Oakland High School is losing their state champion football coach. Thomas McDaniel has resigned as the head coach of the Patriots to take the head coach position at Christian Brothers High School in Memphis. A former Riverdale assistant and Marshall County head coach for one-year, McDaniel won the state championship in his first year at Oakland in 2008. He has family from the Memphis area and was a Bartlett High School graduate.
