You've got several chances this week to meet the new Salvation Army officers, who began their service in Murfreesboro last week.

Captains Joe and Melissa Irvin were transferred to Murfreesboro from Bristol, Tennessee, last week as Lt. Andy and Captain Monica Seiler were moved to Roanoke, Virginia.

Captains Irvin will be on Tuesday's Rutherford Issues program, around 10:30. Be sure to tune in here on NewsRadio WGNS to hear the program.

The Salvation Army is also holding an open house and welcome event for the Irvin's. It will be held at the Center of Hope on Salem Highway. There will be two opportunities for a meet and greet that day. The first will be from 11:30 until 1 and then again from 4 until 6.
