Police headed to Tremont Apartments recently to investigate a man who was reported to be approaching vehicles in the complex parking lot. When they arrived on the scene 22-year old Cameron Barrett took off running. Officers pursued Barrett and eventually apprehended him.

Once in handcuffs, police carefully searched the man and found a bag containing meth and another that contained marijuana. They then checked his name for warrants and discovered that he had two. One was for assault and the second was for theft. He also had a what is called an attachment order for child support.
