About a mile over the Rutherford County line and into Coffee County, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has been hard at work in regards to a local case. The TBI says that a single arrest occured in Beechgrove.

We are told the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation along with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Coffee County Sheriff’s Office and ATF executed a search warrant on Friday, July 26, 2013 which led to the arrest of a Coffee County man.

Robert Garrison, 41, was arrested and charged with one count of coercion of a witness, one count of possession of prohibited weapon and one count of initiation of a process intended to result in the manufacture of methamphetamine. Garrison was arrested after law enforcement executed a search warrant on a residence located at 2213 Frazier Road in Beechgrove. The search warrant was executed four days after a black bag was discovered at 138 Dawn Drive in McMinnville containing a meth lab and two pipe bombs. The Tennessee Highway Patrol Bomb Squad also responded when the evidence was found.

Garrison was booked into the Coffee County Jail.
