Middle Tennessee Pounds Vermont to Open NIT

Middle Tennessee looked like a team on a postseason mission, pounding Vermont 91-64.

Ed Simpson and Giddy Potts now become the all time winningest players in Blue Raider basketball history with win number 100.

Potts helped lead the big third quarter, outscoring Vermont 32-9:

Potts hit six three-pointers to lead Middle Tennessee with 25-points.

Middle will play at Louisville in the second round of the NIT. The game day and time have not been set and won't be until after Wednesday's first round games.
