Middle Tennessee Youth for Christ / Campus Life will host a fundraising banquet April 24, 2014 from 6:30-8:00 pm at Stones River Country Club in Murfreesboro.

Locally, Youth for Christ is reaching students from 12 different schools during their weekly Campus Life meeting.  Their goal in all activities is to reach more kids with the good news of Christ and enter into lifelong relationships that bring glory to God. While Middle Tennessee Youth for Christ has been in Middle TN for over 30 years, they have entered into a new time of “Awakening” as it has recently come under the leadership of Vickie Edwards. Vickie has been a longtime community builder, as she spent over 15 years as the Executive Director of Portico (formerly known as the Pregnancy Support Center).

The purpose of the banquet this year will be to create a larger volunteer base, build a more secure financial base, establish more relationships through additional program opportunities and collaborate with other non-profit ministries in Middle Tennessee. All proceeds will benefit Middle Tennessee Youth for Christ/ Campus Life. Celebrating over 30 years of being involved in Middle Tennessee, Campus Life ministry combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools. Like every ministry of YFC, Campus Life seeks to engage these young people wherever they are found as lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.
