Miss Tennessee will be in Rutherford County on Thursday visiting with school students. Shelby Thompson, a recent graduate of UT Knoxville, will visit Brown’s Chapel Elementary, Kittrell Elementary, Homer Pittard Campus School and Eagleville Schools.

Thompson, who was awarded the crown in 2013, has recently been accepted to Lipscomb University where she will work towards earning her Master’s Degree.
