A total of twenty citations were issued at a party that was held at a home on Richard Road in Murfreesboro this past weekend. The incident occurred at the home of 52-year old Melissa Ann Neff, who was arrested for allegedly supplying alcohol to minors.

According to a police report on file at the Murfreesboro Police Department, Neff was throwing a birthday party for her son. Officers were called to the home because the party was evidently too loud for neighbors. Police investigated the incident and found that some twenty guest who were said to be drinking alcohol were under the age of 21. As a result of the underage drinking, Neff was arrested and charged with furnishing alcohol to minors. Twenty citations were then issued to twenty guest charging them with underage consumption.

Neff was taken to the local jail and placed under a $1,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on October 21, 2014.
