Shortly before 7:00 o'clock Monday night (12/16/2013), there was a double T-bone three vehicle crash at the main entrance to the Avenue of Murfreesboro.

The two cars entering the Avenue of Murfreesboro from Medical Center Parkway have the right of way and are not supposed to stop. They didn't, and evidently an SUV that was crossing the roadway got in the way.

Three first responder units from Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue, along with officers from the Murfreesboro Police Department, along with the Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services were on-the-scene within moments. Paramedics checked out victims, but no one was transported to the hospital.

There was a fluid leaking from one of the vehicles, and Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue spread an absorbing mix on the road.

A warning to holiday shoppers:  as you travel, always be alert to traffic around you, and follow posted regulations carefully.
