More Great Farmer's Market Classes This Week

This week, the Rutherford County Farmer's Market will have free classes once again. On Tuesday, the focus is on woody ornamental planting and on Friday, it's discovering olive oil. Find out more at WGNSRadio.com, keyword classes.

Here are the weekly classes at the Farmer's Market for the upcoming week:

The Rutherford County Farmer's Market has free classes that begin at 9 a.m. in the Lane Agri-Park Community Center each Tuesday and Friday while the market is open. The Lane Agri-Park Community Center is located at 315 John R. Rice Blvd.

This week's classes:

October 7
"Woody Ornamental Planting" is the topic on Tuesday, October 7. It will be presented by Justin Stefanski, Wilson County Extension Agent.
Get ready to revitalize your landscape by learning to plant, prune and care for woody ornamentals.


October 10
On Friday, October 10, the topic is "Discovering Olive Oil." This class starts at 9 a.m. as well and will be given by Jim & Peggy Hunt, owners of Epicurean Olive Oils. Co.in Murfreesboro.
