Police reports continue to be filed against Nashville Motor Cars, a dealer with two locations on Broad Street that shut down several weeks ago. After the company locked their doors, their cars were taken from the lot. The only problem is that most of the cars did not belong to the company. At least 25 of the cars that are now missing were at the dealer on consignment.

The reports that WGNS continues to monitor are all in regards to fraud. Some reports suggested the dealer failed to pay off past loans on trade-in's while other reports show that the dealer sold one car and took the car back due to mechanical problems. The dealer was then accused of giving the victims a different car, never paying off the original trade in or the second trade in. The situation left some victims with three car payments and only one new vehicle. To make matters more complicated, most victims never received a title for the car or SUV they purchased, according to reports on file at the MPD.
