More synthetic marijuana in Murfreesboro - AGAIN

In another synthetic marijuana case in Murfreesboro, a 22-year old construction worker by the name of Ricky Ray Wigginton, Jr. was arrested at a South Church Street hotel on Saturday evening. Police say they asked Wigginton who he was and it quickly turned out that he was wanted for violating his probation. When asked if he had anything illegal in his possession, he owned up to synthetic marijuana that was located in his front pocket.

The subject was transported to the local jail without incident.

According to DrugFree.org, over 11,000 people ended up in the Emergency Room after using synthetic marijuana. Last year in New Hampshire, a state of emergency was declared after 47-overdoses related to synthetic weed or spice were reported in just one week, according to TODAY.com.
