More vehicle burglaries in Rutherford County

More car burglaries have been reported in Murfreesboro as more and more people continue to leave valuables out in the open.

In one of the more recent reports filed on Tuesday, the Tabitha Street victim told officers that he left the doors to his vehicle unlocked. The 31-year old had his Beats brand headphones, Nike backpack and laptop computer stolen. The theft will cost the local resident over $2,300.

Another victim on the same street told police someone stole an Apple I-Pad out of his wife's unlocked SUV.


A construction trailer on General Eisenhower Drive was completely stolen. The trailer was loaded with tools and left behind at a construction site. That theft totaled $6,620.
