Murfreesboro Police are investigating shots being fired on Pavillian Place, near Sulpher Springs Road. Officers responded to the area just after 3am Sunday morning. Several shell casings were found in the driveway of a home in the 29-hundred block of Pavillian Place. Several smoked blunts were found in the doorway of the home. When officers made entry into the home, the resident said he was having a party and refused entry to individuals that had caused problems that night. The resident told officers that as the individuals left, they fired five or six shots into the air. The resident refused to give Murfreesboro Police the names of those individuals.
