Todd Art Gallery opens each semester of the MTSU 2015-2016 academic year with thematic juried exhibitions.

Still Life: The Art of Moonshine kicks off the fall with an opening reception Wednesday, August 26, 5-7 p.m. The gallery's spring calendar commences Thursday, January 21, 2016 with the 5th triennial 12x12: National Exhibition of Small Scale Works of Art. The Todd Art Gallery is located in Todd Hall room 224A.

From the Heart of Middle Tennessee and Beyond to the Far Corners of the American Psyche, this thematic fine art exhibition is juried by and contains the work of Dr. Brian Harnetty and studio artist, Elias Hansen. Including sound art, performance, musical composition and poetry the exhibit seeks to expand the classic gallery presentation to further explore through the perspective of the contemporary artist the far-reaching and ongoing history, stereotypes, methods, and mythos of an iconic American symbol, Moonshine. Over $2,000 in prize money.
