MTSU Graduation This Saturday

MTSU will award an estimated 1,803 degrees during its two fall 2014 commencement ceremonies this Saturday, December 13th, inside Murphy Center.

The morning ceremony begins at 9 a.m. sharp on Dec. 13, and the afternoon ceremony begins at 2 p.m. Each ceremony is expected to last 2 1/2 to three hours.

Murfreesboro Mayor Shane McFarland is the guest speaker for the morning ceremony, and Ken Strickland, NBC News vice president and Washington, D.C., bureau chief, will address the afternoon ceremony. Both are MTSU graduates.

MTSU President Sidney A. McPhee and other MTSU officials also will speak briefly to graduates during the ceremonies.
