MTSU football is packed with a fun, family atmosphere for all ages. For a small investment, the whole family can enjoy a day together at the game. Today's game ball was brought-in by four parachutists.

And to make it even better, the Blue Raiders covered Florida International (FIU) 48 - 0. That creates a win-loss record of 4-2 in Conference USA, and 6-4 overall.  This is the team's first shutout since the 35-0 shutout against North Texas on September 30, 2006 in Denton.

MTSU Puts On A Class Show

There were family games going-on around the stadium, inflatibles were on the second deck area, cotton candy was being sold by vendors walking through the stands--the place was alive with action. Suddenly, the crowd became instantly quiety and you could hear "oooooohhhh". One parachutist glided down quickly for a perfect landing on the field. (see WGNS' news photos below)

Before you could react, there was a second chute, third and fourth. It was one thrill after another. Both MTSU football and basketball are now packed with excitement for all ages.

Tribute to Veterans

Since this was MTSU's 32nd annual Salute to Armed Services, persons who served in the various military forces marched proudly onto the gridiorn at half-time. (photo below)
