For those who are in the parade and would like to record it, the telecast begins at 2:00 Sunday afternoon. You can watch the broadcast on Channel 110 on MTSU's campus, Comcast Channel 10 in Rutherford County, and Channel 99 throughout the mid-state on AT&T U-Verse as well as live streaming online at mt10news.com/live.
While students will be crewing a majority of positions, Middle Tennessee State University students will get the chance to learn from top industry professionals from TNDV, many of whom are MT alumni themselves. This is a great opportunity for electronic media students to get hands on experience with Emmy-award winning professionals in the business.
This is the 30th year NewsRadio WGNS has organized the Murfreesboro Christmas Parade. There will be 115 floats, walking units, horse entries and more. The parade begins at the intersection of East Main Street and Middle Tennessee Boulevard, goes down East Main, around the square, onto West Main and concludes on Walnut Street.
MTSU's student TV will be set up at Central Magnet School.
