A warrant has been filed for "Aggravated Assault" in Murfreesboro after a woman allegedly backed her SMART car into a pedestrian.

The incident unfolded on Searcy Street at about 11:30 Tuesday morning. Suspect Teresa Vincent was at a home when she was told to stop yelling. The report showed that she was at the home visiting when a husband and wife showed up whom did not get along with her. The owner of the home on Searcy Street asked Vincent to leave, according to the report. That was when Vincent allegedly hopped into her SMART car and accelerated towards the house. She then stopped and put the car in reverse and reportedly backed into a 29-year old woman. The female who was struck said she tried to get out of the way, but couldn't and her wrist was hurt in the mishap.

The case remains open until Vincent is arrested.
