A 66-year old Murfreesboro woman reported a theft that is very sentimental to both her and her entire family in recent days. Evidently, the victim took multiple VHS tapes filled with family memories to a business called DVD Treasures (1875-B Memorial Blvd., Murfreesboro) to have the videos transferred to DVD. The victim was surprised to find out that the business closed without returning her tapes or giving her a finished DVD.

A police report filed earlier this week shows that the victim paid the business $477 to make the conversion. What is more troubling about this case is not the money spent for the conversion, but the memories lost.

The victim's husband was recently diagnosed with stage IV cancer, and the disease is reportedly spreading throughout his body. She wants to get the videos of their family back so her husband can enjoy memories of his children before he passes away.

The woman who allegedly took the 29-tapes filled with a lifetime of memories has not returned emails or phone calls to the victim since closing the business. The name of the woman, according to a police report, is Angela Anderson (aka Dusti Roads).

Meanwhile, the victim says that her husband's cancer has spread to his pancreas.
