Sunday afternoon will be a great day for the Murfreesboro Christmas Parade. When it begins at 2:00PM, the weather forecast is calling for partly sunny with temps near 60s.

The parade begins in front of the MTSU president's home at the intersection of East Main and Middle Tennessee Boulevard. It goes down East Main Street, around the historic square, onto West Main Street, and wraps-up on Walnut Street.

This is the 30th year that NewsRadio WGNS has coordinated this popular local event.

The theme of the 2014 Murfreesboro Christmas Parade is "All I Want For Christmas Is ____", and you fill-in the blank. Over the next few days, NewsRadio WGNS will be talking with the organizers of the parade and discover some of the new entries and improvements in the parade.
