Murfreesboro City Offices Closed July 4th

In observance of Independence Day, all City of Murfreesboro offices will be closed on Monday July 4th. St. Clair Street Senior Center will be closed on Saturday, July 2nd and Monday, July 4th. While the Parks & Recreation Main Office on Veterans Parkway will be closed July 4th, all recreational facilities will be open.

Boro Beach, Sports*Com's outdoor pool, will be open from 10 a.m. - 4:30 p. m.

Adams Tennis Complex will be open regular summer hours, 8 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., on July 4th.

Rover, the City's public transportation service, will not run.

Sports*Com Boro Beach Outdoor Pool will host "Rock the Pool," Independence Day bash from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. "Celebration under the Stars," an annual City event for all ages, will be held at McKnight Park beginning at 5:00 p.m. with family games and activities. The fireworks display starts at approximately 9:00 p.m. Bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the fun.

Old Fort, Bloomfield Links, and VA Golf Courses will be open.

There will be no garbage pick-up on Monday, July 4th. Monday's garbage pick-up will be Tuesday, July 5th.

City business offices will resume their regular hours of operation on Tuesday.
