Murfreesboro Electric continues to collect items for East TN Residents affected by past fires

Murfreesboro Electric will continue to collect needed household items for those affected by the Wildfires in the Smokey's this past month.

Amy Byers with Murfreesboro Electric stated...


Over 130 people were injured in the November and December fires that broke out in East Tennessee this year (2016). 14 People were also killed in the fires.

Murfreesboro Electric is located at the intersection of College and Walnut Streets.


The local Salvation Army is helping with the collections.
