Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue Department welcomed a new Firefighter this week. Brent Stephens began his orientation with the department October 14. 

He will also begin shift work this week and will be stationed at Headquarters until further notice.

Stephens is a certified EMT-IV and has six years previous experience in the fire service.

“We would like to welcome Stephens as a member of our growing department,” said Deputy Chief Roger Toombs.
