Murfreesboro Housing Authority remains Closed during COVID-19 Pandemic

As a precaution to avoid the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), The Murfreesboro Housing Authority office remains closed to the public until further notice.

If you need to speak to someone within the housing office, call (615) 893-9414.

If you have documentation to leave for a department in the housing office, there is a dropbox on the front of the building.

Rent can be paid online. Interim change forms can be submitted online as well.

The Murfreesboro Housing Authority website is www.mha-tn.org.

Keep in mind, the Tennessee Supreme Court postponed evictions during the COVID-19 crisis. No evictions will be conducted until at least April 30, 2020 under a Tennessee Supreme Court order issued.

COMMUNITY RESOURCES FOR FINANCIAL OR HOUSING LOSS

The Tennessee Department of Health is accepting emergency cash assistance applications online for qualifying families that lost a job as a result of the pandemic state of emergency situation. The Housing Health Human Services Alliance of Rutherford County also has resources available for those who have suffered housing or financial loss because of COVID-19.
