Williamson County Sheriff's Office Investigators have found the man who was wanted for seven home burglaries and 27 vehicle break-ins in the county last year. Fredrick Carney, 25, of Murfreesboro is charged with multiple counts of auto burglary, home burglary and vandalism after a grand jury indicted him on 84 charges. He was already in jail on another burglary charge when deputies served the papers on him last week.

Carney became a suspect after a stolen laptop was traced to his apartment. Investigators later found more than $20,000 (dollars) in stolen merchandise inside the apartment when they served a search warrant.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office has returned some of the stolen property to owners, but there are many items that have not been claimed. If you live in Thompson's Station, Arrington or South Franklin and were a victim of a home or car burglary between September 2015 and December 2015, call the WCSO at 615-790-5560. We may have recovered your stolen property.
