Murfreesboro man facing child rape charges sees court date reset to October

A 36-year-old Antietam Ln. man in Murfreesboro who is facing child rape charges was due in court this past May, however the date has been reset in Circuit Court.

A warrant for the arrest of Shaun A. Crowell was first served on May 7, 2017. The 36-year-old appeared in court for arraignment on June 12, 2017 where he was formerly introduced to the charges of rape, attempted rape, rape of a child, domestic assault and resisting arrest. His official court date has been set for October 6, 2017. He will appear before Judge David Bragg.

According to the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office, Crowell was released on bond. Again, he is due in court on October 6, 2017.
