Murfreesboro Man Kidnapped, Assaulted

A 32-year old Murfreesboro man says he was kidnapped, taken to Ashland City, beaten and robbed. The victim, who we aren't identifying to protect him, contacted Murfreesboro Police Saturday afternoon to file a report. He told the responding officer that he was at 5586 Lebanon Pike late Friday night when he was hit in the head and knocked unconscious. When he woke up, he and his truck were in Ashland City. The victim went on to say that he was then beaten again by three white males with a strap from the back of his truck and rendered unconscious a second time. When he awoke again, it was after 1am and he noticed two-hundred dollars missing from his wallet. The Criminal Investigations Division is following up on leads and they have the names of suspects in the case. The victim also filed a police report in Ashland City. When captured, the suspects will face a wide range of charges including kidnapping, aggravated assault and robbery.
