Reba Loftis last saw her brother in Murfreesboro on February 2, 2006. Since that date, he has been missing. Roger Dale Douglas was Reba's best friend in life.

In talking about her older brother, she described him as the type of person who would help anyone. "He loved helping people," Loftis explained. "He would help at Greenhouse Ministries - he loved to help people," she commented. "He would go out of his way, take money out of his pocket and give it to people who needed it - especially the ones who had children."

Loftis said the last time she saw Roger, she remembers laughing and "Cutting up..."

Not knowing what happened to someone that you consider to be your best friend is tough... very tough.

Most recently, a body was found behind Longhorn Liquor Store on NW Broad Street. Loftis had that thought that she has had all too often... Could it be Roger? The news she received from Murfreesboro Police... It wasn't Roger. For Mrs. Loftis, that means her emotional roller-coaster continues.

The case of Roger being missing since 2006 is being handled by the Nashville Metro Police Department because that is reportedly where Roger was headed when he disappeared.

If you have any information on the disappearance of Roger Dale Douglas, call (615) 862-8600. You can also call the Nashville Police Department's Crime Stoppers Division and remain anonymous at (615) 74-CRIME.
