Murfreesboro Police Investigating A Variety of Calls

Murfreesboro Police have been busy answering numerous calls.

Murfreesboro Police are investigating a threats call to a man on Calais Court. The victim told officers that she was driving at the intersection of Westerwald and Medford Campbell earlier in the week when a girl ran out in front of her. The woman was able to stop her car, but the young child started yelling at the motorist. She advised the mother, and told police that later the woman's sons started yelling at her and the mother said, "I'll come to your house if I have to." Police are investigating.

They were dispatched to a North Spring Street home in reference to a theft of over $600 in cash. The resident told officers about a former roommate who was asked to leave, but when questioned by police the woman denied taking the money.

The Spring Street resident told police that more items were discovered missing after the person moved out. A report was filed and police are investigating.

In another incident, shortly after 10:00 o'clock Thursday night (3/10/2016), Murfreesboro Police were called Mercury Boulevard Apartments regarding a stolen vehicle. The occupant told officers that her 2005, white, Nissan Sentra had been taken.
