We are following up on a story you first heard about WGNS Wednesday morning in regards to a bullet being found on a Murfreesboro “City” School Bus. WGNS has now obtained the police report to the incident in question.

The police report states, “Dispatch advised that a city school bus driver found a .357 round on his bus while transporting elementary students.” On Tuesday, the bus driver told officers that a child first spotted the bullet and thought it was a crayon. The driver immediately took possession of the bullet and called the bus dispatchers who then called the police.
