Murfreesboro Police Set Sights on Old Medical Clinic Building for New Headquarters

The Murfreesboro Police Department outlined some forthcoming upgrades at September’s last meeting of the Murfreesboro City Council.  In addition to purchasing new forensic video and audio equipment, as well as tactical body armor, Chief Chrisman sought to finalize a contract to conduct a study, looking further into the pros, cons, and needs of the old Murfreesboro Medical Clinic building, where the MPD hopes to relocate their headquarters.



The Old Fort Golf Commission set the name for their new six-hole course as “Bloomfield Links”, council scheduled a special joint meeting between themselves and the Murfreesboro Electric Department Power Board for November 7th at 5pm, and in case you didn’t know, next Friday is “True Blue Friday” for homecoming, so wear your blue!
